FISH FOOD BANK
The Northwest FISH Food Bank at Mason Methodist Church is one of seven
FISH Food Banks of Pierce County food banks that are spread throughout the
county.
Hours of operation: 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. each Wednesday and
Saturday.
The food bank operates out of the
downstairs kitchen in Ernst Hall.
Clients should enter through the southwest door on the basement
level. Go down the ramp on the 27th
Street side of the church.
One person may pickup
food for the entire family. Please
bring identification for each family member and paperwork of some sort that
verifies your place of residence, such as a utility bill or rent receipt.
Operations: Volunteers are needed every Wednesday and Saturday

Greet and register clients

Escort clients through the food bank
Donations: Deposit food items and supplies in the church foyer in
the grocery cart. Items that are
particularly needed:

Canned fruit and vegetables
-
Peanut butter
-
Tuna fish/canned meat
-
Soup
-
Pasta/Spaghetti sauce
-
Baby food
Non-food items such as baby diapers, toilet
paper, soap
Financial donations: Checks should be made payable to “FISH Food
Banks of Pierce County” and mailed to the office at 621 Tacoma Avenue S.,
Suite 202, Tacoma, WA 98405.
